There are few places in the world that can compare to Miami and the lifestyle it provides. After all, here you’ll find year-round, tropical weather; wide, palm-lined beaches; a variety of cultures; and opportunities galore.
Miami vibrates with energy and a big reason for that is the cultural diversity; it’s reflected everywhere and each neighborhood offers up its own uniqueness. The food, the shops, the music…it’s an international affair- and the perks are many.
Restaurants
Savor the flavors of the world in your own backyard! Miami offers up so many choices when it comes to dining; be sure to bring your appetite. In addition, its waterfront location provides a never-ending supply of fresh seafood. You’ll also find something called Floribbean, a unique blend of Florida and the Caribbean, which adds a tasty twist to all kinds of dishes: try fresh grouper with mango salsa or mahi-mahi wrapped in banana leaves; it’s a taste explosion you won’t soon forget.
Music
Salsa, jazz, gritty blues, reggae, island steel drums…Miami has it all. Whether you want to dance the night away or just sit back and soak it all in, you’ll find what you seek, and more.
Culture
The Florida Grand Opera, the New World Symphony, the Miami City Ballet, the Miami Film Festival, the Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts…the list goes on and on! There is always something culturally enriching going on in Miami. And each spring, there’s a long list of art festivals happening most every weekend, including the Coconut Grove Arts Festival – one of the nation’s premier fine art shows.
Transportation
Miami offers visitors and residents public transportation throughout the county – and beyond. You’ll find the Metrobus; Metrorail, an above-ground train connecting South Miami to North Miami; the Metromover, for getting around certain areas of downtown; and Tri-Rail, which connects Miami to Broward and Palm Beach counties to the north.
